Eye health is of the upmost importance. The Optometrist will recommend the interval that you need to return for testing. this is dependant on your eye health and conditions, your age and any family history of eye disease. It may be as soon as 1 week or month and as long as 2 years that you may need to return. Even if you have not received a recall notice but are having problems with either you vision or your eyes in general, you must call for an appointment as soon as possible. Even returning to have your regular eye tests can alert the optometrist to changes in your eyes, that can indicate glaucome, diabetes and other conditions and diseased, sometimes totally unrelated to the eyes. Some of the more uncommon findings the Optometrist has found are Eye changes relating to Multiple Schlerosis and Tumours behind the eye.
